How to Open a Closed Tab in Google Chrome.

 Mistakes can happen to anyone at any point of time. Sometimes, due to a small misunderstanding we might make a mistake and after that moment we might think of fixing it back.

Well this might also happen with technology and with electronic devices as well.

Things that you are applying for a job through the internet and you are using Google Chrome as your browser.

In between you accidentally close the whole window instead of closing a tab. Your application was halfway down but you don’t have the time right now because you accidentally close all Windows.

 Well most of us think that once you close a tab in Google Chrome, you cannot recover it. But this is not true. We can recover the closed Windows in Google Chrome.

 Sometimes Google Chrome accidentally shuts down itself because of some software error and once we reopen the browser, Google Chrome welcomes you with the notification bar right at the top with a message saying that Chrome was not shut down properly and would you like to restore the closed tabs? If you press the yes button, then the closed windows will be restored.

 But what if this message doesn’t appear?

 How will you reopen the closed tabs?

  There is a simple way to do this and in this article you will see how it can be done.

 To reopen a closed tab/ window on Chrome (Windows OS):

  1. Open the browser again.
  2. Right-click on the empty space at the top tap bar.
  3. Select “Reopen closed tabs” option (to open a recently closed tab)
  4. Select “Reopen Closed Window” (to open a recently closed window.)

 To reopen a closed tab/window on Chrome (iOS):

  1. Open the browser again.
  2. Press the Ctrl Key on the keyboard and click on the tap bar.
  3. Select “Reopen closed tabs” option (to open a recently closed tab)
  4. Select “Reopen Closed Window” (to open a recently closed window.)

 To reopen a closed tab/ window (Windows):

  •       Press Ctrl+Shift+T

 To reopen a closed tab/ window (iOS):

  •       Press Cmnd+Shift+T

 In order to open a specific closed tab click on the three dots on the top right of the Chrome window. Then select the ‘History’ option, a recently closed list will now appear and you can select the needed one from the list by clicking it.

If the tab was closed sometimes back, then you have to click on the ‘History’ option and find the tab by browsing through the history.
