How to Identify and unlink third party application’s – Google access.

With the advent of technology everything began to turn smart. From your watch to shoes to phones to television, everything became a smart device.

 It was the advent of smartphones that linked humans much closer to the world of technology. A smartphone can now replace  many things around you.

 Even though it’s generally said as the phone, it is the application that performs and controls most of the functions.

 A common man’s phone contains a minimum of 4 to 5 apps to perform certain tasks. Right from online shopping to watching movies there are several applications that run on your phone. Majority of these applications gain access to your Google account as well. 

 Whether it be Flipkart or Amazon or Facebook all of these applications have access to your phone and Google account.

 Since most of these are well recognized applications and they provide a better and secure service to its users, your data might be safe with them. But, this is not the same with third-party applications.

 Third party applications do not guarantee your data safety. That’s why hackers find it very easy to enter your phone through it. If the app is linked to a Google account, there is a high chance of getting hacked.

 So it is important to remove these third party applications from your phone. In this article you will learn how to unlink a third party application from your google account and delete it.

  1. Open the ‘Settings’ of your phone.
  2. Find ‘Google Accounts’ and select it.
  3. Understand the apps which you want to remove from Google Access.
  4. Find the third party app with account access by going to the security session and clicking the ‘third party app with account access’ option.
  5. Select ‘Manage third party app access’ option.

  2. Launch a new tab.
  3. Click on the profile icon on the right corner of the tab.

  5. Select ‘Security’ option.
  6. Click the ‘third party app with account access’ option.
  7. Select ‘Manage third party app access’ option.
